We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with focus on Race Control based @ global Headquarters in Haarlem, The Netherlands. We are an international company that provides our customers and events, like the MotoGP, INDYCAR, Rotterdam Marathon, and many more, with our sports timing technology. It is a fun and exciting industry especially when you are working with one of our latest innovation in Motorsports: Race Control.

As Technical Support Engineer Race Control you will report directly to our Teamlead Technical Support. You will work closely together with the Software and Technical Support teams, as well as with our Commercial Team, Product Management, and Hardware specialists.  You will play a key role in successful implementation of our Race Control proposition as well as top of class Customer Technical Services on the MYLAPS product portfolio.

Area of responsibility

• Technical Support: you provide technical support on our soft- and hardware to our customers and you work closely with them to understand their requirements

The requirements for this role

• Higher vocational education thinking and working level
• Experience of installation and testing of hardware components, including embedded systems is a must
• Good knowledge of network systems
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is not mandatory)
• Self-starting and hands-on mentality
• Experience with E2E testing
• Willingness to travel up to <50% of your time
• Willingness to join our 24/7 support team, which means you are on call approx. once every 6 weeks
• A passion for new technologies applied and it would be great if you also love Motorsports
• You must live in The Netherlands already
