The Role
Are you passionate about sports, sales, and international travel? As our new Regional Sales Representative, you’ll drive commercial growth in the Middle East and Africa by building strong relationships with existing customers and actively pursuing new opportunities. Your key contacts will include timing service providers, race organizers, and sports federations.
While based at our headquarters in Haarlem, you’ll travel approximately 12 days per month—mainly during the winter season—to visit clients and attend epic events like the Burj2Burj Half Marathon, Pyramids Half Marathon, IRONMAN Dubai, and the Jeddah Historic Half Marathon. You’ll join a supportive international sales team of 5 Regional Sales Reps and 1 Customer Service Rep.
What You’ll Do
✔️ Build and maintain strong relationships in the active sports and tech industries
✔️ Understand your market and develop a clear sales and account management strategy
✔️ Adapt to local cultures and business practices in diverse regions
✔️ Proactively manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce to meet quarterly targets
✔️ Take ownership of forecasting for your region
✔️ Represent MYLAPS at sports events and industry trade shows
What You Bring
🎯 2+ years of experience in an international, sales-driven environment
🎯 A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
🎯 Background in sports or tech sales is a strong plus
🎯 Deep passion for active sports—you’ll become a trusted expert in the field
🌍 High cultural awareness and adaptability—you’re confident working across diverse markets
🗣️ Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a major advantage
🏡 You live in the Netherlands and can easily commute to our Haarlem office
🚗 A valid driver’s license and full flexibility to travel regularly
