The Role
MYLAPS Sport Service is looking for an Event Manager with technical skills who will be part of our dedicated staff.
As an Event Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of events from start to finish. You will act as the main point of contact for event organizers, gaining a clear understanding of their requirements related to timing, data analysis, and data management. Your responsibilities include preparing all event logistics, overseeing time management, and setting up timing systems and databases.
During events, you will manage multiple parallel processes, ensuring that all systems run efficiently, and that data is handled accurately. You will also lead and coordinate the local Timing Team, providing guidance and support to deliver high-quality results.
What You'll Do
🎯 At least 1 year of experience in Technical Project Management preferably in the sport/event industry;
🎯 You have a service minded attitude also during stressful situations;
🎯 You enjoy working with IT networks (and SQL for database management is a pre);
🎯 Fluent in English any other language is a plus;
🎯 Team player with a can-do and hands-on mentality;
🎯 Willing to work flexible work hours (including at least 10 weekends days per year);
🎯 Willing to travel (internationally);
🎯 You have a driver’s license.

- Contact with event organizer on needs of Timing and Data analysis- and management;
- Preparation of events: Logistics, time management and Timing and Database set up;
- Managing multiple processes during the event with regards to systems and data;
- Managing the local Timing Team.
