Sales Intern
Haarlem/home office – 32/40 hrs p.w.
Start date will be February, 2026.

Your role
You will be part of your EMEA Active Sales Team. Within Europe, Middle-East, and Africa, MYLAPS has established a firm customer base.
Every year, our Sports Timing systems capture the performance of ever 20 million people around the world, ranging from a first 5k run to a new world record. An ever larget set of customers rely on MYLAPS BibTag and ProChip solutions to accurately time training and racing on tracks, roads, trails and beyond.
As part of your Internship / Research Project, you will firstly learn more about these solutions, before beginning a project to map out what (if anything) is available and used at different tracks across the EMEA region.
You’ll help define and then follow a clear strategy using historical data and primary market research to help us gain a detailed and accurate picture of the buying behaviour of various active sports markets.
With your detailed overview of the customer’s locations, seasonality and the different systems and solutions used, you will assist the Regional Sales Managers to prepare sales pitches, target specific customer groups more effectively and improve the overall efficiency of business trips.

Deliverables
At the end of your internship, your goal is to have:
- Compiled existing and own research to create an overall calendar of key events, likely purchasing periods and related buyer personas in the EMEA region per sports discipline (Running, Cycling, Triathlon, Winter Sports, Equine)
- Contributed to a specific sales pitch that targets a pre-defined customer group at the right time (e.g.: Running event organisers at the start of the season);
- Assisted in creating and scheduling targeted outbound events through the year;
- Grasped an understanding of sports’ timekeeping during multiple races;
- Used and updated relevant CRM systems with information.
Our ideal candidate has the following profile:
- Following a relevant HBO study;
- Passion for sports & technology;
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, good English skills (both verbal and written);
- Creative, self-starting, eager to learn, confident and eager to win;
- Keen to complete the whole project, leaving no gaps, and push tracks to share information;
- Accurate and structured;
- Only residents of The Netherlands are considered for this internship.
