The Role
Are you passionate about sports, sales, and travelling? As our new Regional Sales Manager, you’ll drive commercial growth in The Netherlands and the DACH-region by building strong relationships with existing customers and actively pursuing new opportunities. Your key contacts will include timing service providers, race organizers, and sports federations.
While based at our headquarters in Haarlem, you’ll travel approximately 10 days per month to visit clients and attend epic events like the Amstel Gold Race, Jungfrau-Marathon, IRONMAN Frankfurt, Rad am Ring and Rad-Bundesliga. You’ll join a supportive international sales team of 1 Manager Sales, 5 Regional Sales Managers and 1 Inside Sales Representative.
What You’ll Do
✔️ Build and maintain strong relationships in the active sports and tech industries
✔️ Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth
✔️ Understand your market and develop a clear sales and account management strategy
✔️ Adapt to local cultures and business practices in diverse regions
✔️ Proactively manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce to meet quarterly targets
✔️ Take ownership of forecasting for your region
✔️ Represent MYLAPS at sports events and industry trade shows
What You Bring
🎯 2+ years of experience in an international, sales-driven environment
🎯 A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
🎯 Background in sports or tech sales is a strong plus
🎯 Deep passion for active sports—you’ll become a trusted expert in the field
🌍 High cultural awareness and adaptability—you’re confident working across diverse markets
🏡 You live in the Netherlands and can easily commute to our Haarlem office
🗣️ German and English mandatory. Dutch is a plus
🚗 A valid driver’s license and full flexibility to travel regularly
